The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.
SMALL: Great for those that travel light on the daily – it can fit a water bottle, snacks, book, wallet, and sunglasses comfortably. Measures 10” wide across the base, 13” wide across the top, 4.5” deep and 11.5” tall.
MEDIUM: Can fit a water bottle, snacks, a book, wallet, sunglasses and a 13” Macbook snugly. Measured 10.5” wide across the base, 15” wide across the top, 5.5” deep, and 12” tall.
LARGE: Fits a water bottle, snacks, book, wallet, sunglasses, back-up shirt, and a 15” Macbook snugly. Measures 11” wide across the base, 18” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 12” tall.
OVERSIZED: Fits all that plus a pair of jeans and a larger laptop comfortably. Measures 13.5” wide across the base, 21” wide across the top, 6” deep, and 13” tall.
The drop length for all of our handles is 10.5” regardless of the size of the tote, and suits most!

I was lucky enough to receive 3 totes in colors that I loved- Lotus, Turmeric, and Ponderosa. The Littles were okay, although I’m not sure how I’ll use a couple of them. This was a great experience, nonetheless, and I’d absolutely do it again.

Realizing I love everything PLG, I took a chance on a tote only mystery box. It was so much fun anticipating the surprise and then opening it without looking at the label. I was delighted when it was a medium classic tote in avocado! Perfect in every way and a nice complement to what I already have. My softest one so far, I like the way it hugs my body when carrying it. Now I want to do more— a mystery box is now my go to “ask” for bday, Mother’s Day, etc. Always a surprise and easy for husband and kids! Win-win!
I was so excited to get my mystery box ! I ordered the 1tote , 4 littles . When I saw bubblegum on the box I was a little Leary . I'm not a pink person so I was a little disappointed. I love the 4 littles though ! .
I love PLG’s mystery boxes! This is not a color I would normally go for but I’m glad because the style is very unique and has plenty of room.
