While my original order during the buy one get one free sale was completely messed up and only received one pair that was the wrong size, customer service really went above and beyond to make things right. They refunded my purchase, let me keep the boots that were the wrong size, and then sent me another pair of boots in my actual size, and still gave me additional coupons. And they did it all on a Sunday! I didn't expect to hear back so soon, especially not on a Sunday. But for some reason customer service was at the office responding to customer complaints on a Sunday. I think that's pretty awesome. And the boots are beautiful, especially for the price! So, over all my experience with Portland Leather was actually a very positive one, all things considered. This was my second purchase of men's boots and I love them both. Matter of fact I plan to do a video review of both pairs of boots and put it on my YouTube to show my appreciation. And because I know there's been a lot of negative attention aimed at Portland Leather by other particular companies which I won't name here, but can honestly say not to believe everything you hear, no matter how convincing it may seem. Because I can truly say that all the negative attention appears to be a deliberate smear campaign by angry and possibly jealous competitors who apparently want the market for themselves. Oh, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is so that people don't think it's a fake review, because even when I see 5 star reviews for a product or company, I automatically assume it's a fake review.

I love these boots. They look great, fit comfortably, & smell like heaven!

I didn't like the light colored soles on the women's boots so I took a chance in the men's . Sized down 2 sizes and they are extremely comfy ! I will say I have a bit of extra space in the toes so I probably could've sized down but I normally wear 8.5 women's and orders the men's 7. The shadow black is absolutely stunning 😍

Ordered half size up and fits perfectly. They feel great and my wife says I look stylish 😀

Well constructed with a replaceable sole and fully lined with glove soft leather, I expect these boots to hold up well over the long haul. They seem true-to-size for me (US13) and broke in easily after only a few days wear. More like an ankle-height shoe than a heavy-duty work boot which makes them great for daily wear but maybe not so good for a construction site. My wife says they look like a dress shoe and will probably work for that purpose if you polish them out with some Lincoln Stain Wax. Surprisingly high quality at this price point. I’ve already ordered a pair of brown leather London boots from PLG based on my experience with this pair.
