The quality is unquestionable, it is top-notch from the leather to the dyes to the interior lining and stitching. The maker appears to be a third party business, and in my opinion, PLG should absolutely continue their business connections with them. Color is rich and looks sharp. Heavy weight. I ordered men’s sizing for the longer torso/ arm/ shoulder length. Very roomy and comfortable.

The package was very damaged, but I realized that Portland Leather has little control over that. Luckily the overshirt wasn't damaged!

I bought the umber version. The color isn't as reddish as the picture makes it appear. It fits great. The collar was a little bent inward, but hanging it up and wearing it (and kind of creasing it to where I want it) helped a lot. It has pockets in the front bottom and right, which is really nice. There is also a left breast pocket on the inside. It seems to be well made. I'm looking forward to how it will break in more over time. It's pretty warm! It smells great and looks great. I doubt I'll ever button it up; it's tedious to try to button it because of the stiffness of the leather. It looks better as an overshirt anyway. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The jacket fit my husband perfectly and is stunning. The only issue/ question: how long does it take to soften? Very stiff and not as comfy and it will become.

I’m very pleased with this OverShirt as Portland calls it. It’s sturdy and hangs well on the body because it’s over 2 1/2 pounds, 42 ounces, and quite soft, suede leather. I have not worn it for long, but I wear it every day for several weeks. It will be too heavy for summer but it’s perfect for an outer layer in mild to very cool weather. I wasn’t originally shopping for this product, but I returned a bag that did not suit me and did not want to lose the cost of shipping so I took full store credit. There’s not a lot of men’s products in their catalog, the small crossbody bag was not suitable as a man’s fanny pack, which I was hoping it would be, so this was going to be my consolation prize, but now it has become one of my favorite pieces of outerwear. I wish Portland had a phone number but they are very quick with emails, never taking more than 24 hours to respond.
