Love this iPhone cover! Minimal and fancy all at the same time. I like how thin it is while still protecting the edges and camera lens. Now my purse, wallet, boots, phone cover, and air pods case all match - I’m obsessed! Buy it!
The smell of real leather is nice. The packaging is great. My problem with it is that it’s just too slick and slippery. Also it didn’t really sit even from top to bottom. There’s a greater lip at the top than at the bottom. It protects the top of the phone a little more than towards the bottom. That may have something to do with the bottom of the case being open and it doesn’t completely wrap the entire bottom of the phone. It’s something I really appreciate when swiping up, but seems to be more of a fit n finish problem. I feel like it the phone falls on its face it’ll crack the bottom edge first. Also, the camera bump, black surround, had a blemish right away and exposed the steel finish underneath. I really wanted to love this case more than the apple branded leather one. The is a fine leather case for the majority of people who want something classy with minimal protection.
I do love this phone case! The metallic gold buttons and detailing around the camera are what attracted me to the Tuscany color. The pebbled leather is beautiful and it feels so nice! I do put my phone in the pockets of my leggings and jeans, and I noticed some color transfer to the lighter Tuscany leather. I’ve been able to get the color transfer out, but it is a bit of annoyance. If you put your phone in your pockets a lot, I would opt for a darker leather color. A second thing to note, if you drop your phone, the case will scuff. This makes sense because it is leather, but if you want your case looking pristine, you need to be super careful not to drop it! The MagSafe case is awesome! The magnet is strong enough that I was able to attach a magnetic plate to it and then a pop socket onto that.
First of all, this phone case is very pretty. The gold metallic details are gorgeous. I got the Tuscany color, and I am noticing some color transfer when I put it in the pocket of my leggings or jeans. This is probably user error, because I didn’t protect it with anything. I’m able to get the color transfer out with baby wipes, but it’s just an annoyance. If you put your phone in pockets of darker colored pants a lot, I would go with a darker color phone case. Also, if you drop your phone, which I unfortunately do, the phone case will scuff. This is to be expected, because it’s leather. It’s never that noticeable, but this phone case will show wear and tear. If you want your phone case looking pristine, then you need to be very careful with it! I do love the feel of the case in my hand. The pebbles are so nice! It’s almost like a sensory tool! The magnet in the case is pretty strong! I was able to get a magnetic plate in gold that I could attach a pop socket to without damaging the leather.
I love this case! It’s pebbled and feels so nice in my hand. I will definitely order it again in different colors.
